Flat $129 diagnostic, credited in full toward the repair when you approve the work.
The diagnostic buys a diagnosis: the fault identified at the component, not the symptom repeated back to you. On a built-in that usually means pulling the appliance far enough to see the back of it, which is most of the labor in any case.
Written estimate before any part is ordered or any labor is billed. The estimate names the part, the labor and the total. If you decline it, the diagnostic stands on its own and there is nothing further to pay — and we will tell you what the appliance can and cannot be asked to do in the meantime.
What is in the number

- Travel inside the service area, the diagnosis itself, and the written estimate that follows it.
- Credited
- The full $129 against the repair invoice when you approve the work.
- Not included
- Parts, and the labor to fit them. Both are quoted before either is started.
- Parts
- Genuine OEM parts, priced in the estimate before ordering.
- Second appliance
- Looked at on the same visit where time allows. Ask when you book, rather than when we arrive.
- Area
- Ponte Vedra Beach, Nocatee, Palm Valley, South Ponte Vedra and the St. Johns County coast, plus the Jacksonville side of the Intracoastal.
What we will not do
We do not quote a repair over the phone. The same symptom on a built-in can be a fifteen-dollar sensor or a sealed-system job, and the only honest way to tell them apart is to look. We will say on the phone which of those two ranges we expect, and we will say when the answer is likely to be "replace it".
We do not work on any make other than Thermador. If the appliance is another brand, that gets said on the phone rather than after a diagnostic has been charged.
